Date calculator: days from a date

Add or subtract days, weeks or months from any date and see the resulting date and its day of the week. It starts from today by default, so you can quickly answer questions like “what is 90 days from today?”.

Calculating…

This is a plain calendar-day calculator: it counts every day, including weekends and public holidays. Enter a start date (today is filled in for you), choose how many days, weeks or months to add or subtract, and the result updates instantly — together with the weekday it falls on and its day number in the year.

Adding months follows the calendar: one month after the 31st of a month lands on the last day of the next month when that month is shorter (for example, 31 January + 1 month = 28 February, or 29 February in a leap year).

How it works

Pick a start date (today is pre-filled from your device clock), enter a number, choose days, weeks or months, and select whether to count forward (after) or backward (before).

The calculator counts calendar days, so weekends and holidays are included. The result shows the date, the weekday and the day number within the year.

Common intervals

Counting forward from Thursday, January 1, 2026, as an example:

What it’s for

Date calculators are handy for deadlines and waiting periods: a 90-day return window, a 30-day notice, a 180-day visa limit, or a due date counted in weeks. Change the start date to count from any day, not just today.

Frequently asked questions

What is 90 days from today?
Set the calculator to 90 days, “after”, with today as the start date — it shows the exact date and weekday 90 calendar days from now. Today is filled in automatically.
Does it count weekends and holidays?
Yes. This is a calendar-day calculator, so every day is counted, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Can I count backwards from a date?
Yes. Choose “before (−)” to subtract days, weeks or months and find an earlier date — for example, 30 days before a deadline.
How are months added?
Months follow the calendar. If the start day doesn’t exist in the target month (for example the 31st), the result moves to the last day of that month.
Can I start from a date other than today?
Yes. Today is pre-filled, but you can type or pick any start date and the result recalculates instantly.
